Continuing Education

The Thompson Center offers continuing education credits from the following professional credentialing bodies.

American Psychological Association (APA)

The University of Missouri Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education to psychologists. The University of Missouri Thompson Center maintains responsibility for this program and it's content.

American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)


Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)


National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)


School of Medicine (CME)


This conference is designed for a target audience of Board Certified Physicians, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Social Workers, Nurses, Educators, and others interested in learning more about Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The Instructional Level of sessions is intended for intermediate to advanced-level learning.

Continuing education is only available to in-person attendees. There is a $75 cost for continuing education credit. During registration, select “yes” if you would like to earn continuing education credit and the fee will be added to your total cost. You may purchase continuing education credit outside of the initial registration process but we strongly encourage you to purchase credit at the time of registration. CE credit must be purchased by 5:00 p.m. CST on September 7, 2023. CE credit purchased after this date will increase to $100 and may result in a delay in processing your certificate. CE credit will NOT be available to purchase on site. Virtual attendees can receive a certificate of participation, free of charge. To request this certificate, please complete this form.

Attendees earning Continuing Education Credit must attend the entire session in order to earn credit. Attendees will scan in and out of each session and attendance will be monitored using the Conference Attendee app. If an attendee arrives more than 5 minutes late or leaves more than 5 minutes early from a session, CE credit may not be given. At the end of each session, attendees must complete the post session CE survey provided in the app in order to receive CE credit.
